We did this noble cause ride before: Bring a dead laptop and we bring it to life right in front of you. We also help you wipe/crush your hard drive right in front of you. We bring the tools and let you take the same tools home. We haul "ALL DEAD" stuff to Freegeek for you or with you Wednesday 11am to 4pm. We might even get a special tour . Bring a blank USB thumb drive and we will wipe that clean and give you something that will boot open source to 3 different open source operating systems and make you able to wipe or factory reset other computers down the road. We teach you to fish. Heck, we might even be able to do the same for a desktop if you do all the hauling. There is power at the carts. Optional: bring thumb drives, bring a cargo bike or trailer. We might do this more often in the summer. We are masking friendly and whole thing is outdoors. Bring kids. We want to teach all ages how to save the planet from cars and other stuff.
