Gather for the 2nd annual ride celebrating one of the best working directors: Luca Guadagnino. Both bicycles and music play central roles in his tender, lavish films. THEME: The films of Luca Guadagnino! Expect a route highlighting the beauty of Portland. Expect a playlist of scores and soundtracks from his films, including tracks by The Psychedelic Furs, Sufjan Stevens, Blood Orange, Boys Noize and Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (as well as some Italian pop/new wave). Excited for the ride and want to check out or revisit some of his films? We recommend Call Me By Your Name, Challengers, After the Hunt, Suspiria (2018), Bones and All and Queer. ROUTE: Route will be about 11 miles with a store/ice cream stop, taking roughly 2 hours or so in total. Ride is a loop. While the route won’t be posted beforehand, feel free to ask the ride leader about specifics at Laurelhurst Park or the store stop if you have questions.
