Riot Grrl music ride! Grrrls, Femmes, and thems to the front!! Riot Grrrl is feminist movement that emerged in 1990's in the PNW, which focuses heavily on challenging sexism and patriarchy in the punk, DIY, and music. (We highly recommend this podcast by OPB to learn more about riot grrrl and the queer bipoc artists carrying the movement today https://open.spotify.com/show/0YIZERVQ9cNNHfS9xDqvPs?si=1RHEi6xTScqwsh92qYcy8g ) Join us for this DIY bike party of riding and chilling to classic riot grrrl music such as bikini kill, sleater Kinney, Batmobile, Hole, and more! We will also have some riot grrrl adjacent and inspired artists featured. We will end at a diy kareoke and dance party (bring your rage to the mic!) Everyone is welcome, but grrrls, Femmes, and thems to the front! Stay behind your ride leaders. More route details to come, but ride will be 8-12ish miles at a chill pace. Shift code of content applies. Consent is mandatory. look out for your friends and your community and take care of one another. If you're banned from any ride you are banned here.
