Can y'all believe it's the 6th Annual Spice Girls Ride? Colors of the world - spice up your bike! Slam it to the left if you’re having a good time, and shake it to the beat of the Spice Girls with a fabulous group of fans. Zig-a-zig aaaaall over Portland to your favorite 90's bops. Dress it up or dress down to boogie, because if u can’t dance to this you can do nothing for me baby. PLEASE BRING WATER / BEVERAGES! It's gonna be a warm one, so come prepared with hydration. Bring a bandana to soak with water for your neck. There will not be any store stops; so be sure to bring all the water, sunscreen, and snacks you’ll want. ROUTE MAP on RIDE WITH GPS (Link Below!): - Route has been reduced due to the heat, & there's also an option to meet halfway-ish at our park stop - Woodlawn - Starting at the Peninsula Park Rose Garden (SW Corner of the Park) - Cruising down Mississippi and back up Williams to show off our fits and tunes - Taking Ainsworth for a bit and then 15th to Woodlawn - PARK STOP: Woodlawn Park under the bridge (Splash Pad and Bathrooms available!) - Costume Contest - Taking Ainsworth West to 32nd, looping back down Alberta - Ending at Vegan Ice Cream - Ramblin' Rose! (Bye & Bye will be open for food) - Screening the Spice World movie! Ride is not a loop but it will end not too far from the start. ** This is not a sober ride, but we ask folks to imbibe responsibly for the safety of everyone. ** We aim to create a supportive and safer space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folks. Sketchy folks, phobic remarks, or unsupportive behavior of any sort will not be tolerated. Please refrain from taking pictures, filming, or touching others without their consent. Remember - consent is verbal. BANNED RIDERS: If you are banned from any rides, you are also banned from this ride. DJ bikes and BIG speakers encouraged! Playlist linked below via Spotify. Download the playlist to your device for so we can jam together without using your data. Corking is Community Care: We encourage folks who like to cork to join this ride and help make it a success. We also strongly encourage people who are cork-curious to join in and try it out. We keep us safe.
