CAKE is performing at Edgefield – avoid the long line of cars and concertgoers getting into and out of the venue by riding bikes to and from the concert! The band is giving us perks for riding our bikes, but you do need to buy your own concert tickets: https://edgefieldconcerts.com/event/cake-2026-day-two/ We will get VIP entry, so you won't need to stand in the epic line! And there will be secure bike parking, but bring your lock. We will give away concert poster spoke cards, stickers, and other swag. Bring lights since it will be dark for the return ride. Ride with us from one of two starting points or meet up along the route: Route from Ladd's Circle - 16.5 miles one-way: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55657232 - 2:30: Meet at Ladd's Circle - 2:45: Depart Ladd's - 3:15: Arrive at the Springwater Trail from SE 37th Ave - 4:15: Intersection of Springwater and Gresham-Fairview Trails (merge with other ride below) Route from Gresham Central Transit Center - 8.5 miles one-way: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55656939 - 3:45: Meet at Gresham Central Transit Center - 4:00: Depart - 4:15: Intersection of Springwater and Gresham-Fairview Trails - 4:45: Intersection of Gresham-Fairview Trail and NE Halsey - 5:00: Arrive at Edgefield For the shorter route, you can take your bike on transit to Gresham Central Transit Center or there is a free Trimet parking garage there. The direct route is very bike unfriendly, so we will be taking a flatter and safer route along the Springwater and Gresham-Fairview Trails. We will ride 2.5 miles along Halsey which has a bike lane and a 35 mph speed limit. We will also do The CAKE Ride again this summer: https://www.shift2bikes.org/calendar/event-23806
