A ride to celebrate all things Maryland, the state with the best flag! If you grew up in Maryland, lived in Maryland, visited Maryland recently, have friends who are from Maryland, want to make friends who are from Maryland, or are just looking for a fun evening, come out and ride with us! Expect Maryland themed route features, Maryland trivia contest (with Maryland prizes!), Maryland attire, and other Maryland goodies. Think Old Bay, Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, Edgar Allen Poe, Chesapeake Bay, Blue Crabs, etc. We will have a Maryland themed music playlist. Every song on the list will be connected to Maryland in some way. Some will be by artists with Maryland connections. Others will be about Maryland or will have sneaky mentions of Maryland in the lyrics. See if you can figure each song's Maryland connection! The route is 7-miles one-way from Maryland Ave. to Baltimore Ave. and will feature a lot of "Baltimore" streets on the way. Lloyd will lead a ride back to the starting point for a complete loop of about 12 miles. We'll take an easy pace with a stop at Columbia Park on the way there. The Shift code of conduct applies.
