Gristaxe Hammerhorn, king in exile of the lost dwarven city of Hammerhorn Keep is gathering a band of adventures to delve into the ancient ruins of his ancestral home in search of the lost relics of that once great kingdom. Beware! What dangers have crept into those long abandoned halls? What creatures now inhabit those dark depths? What secrets far below the earth drove the dwarves to flee their city all those years ago? Only the bravest and mightiest adventures should dare take up King Hammerhorn's quest, but priceless treasures, ancient magics and unparalleled glory await any that survive. Dungeons & Dragons & Derailleurs is a Dungeons and Dragons-inspired ride that will have you and your adventuring party biking to a few different locations in N/NE Portland and playing a D&D-light choose-your-own-adventure game. No previous D&D experience required! We’ll have everything you need for the game, but bringing along notebooks and pencils or even a costume is definitely encouraged. Adventuring parties of 4 are ideal, but the game works for groups of other sizes. Or just show up at the starting location solo and invite strangers to join you on your quest! Note: This is a dispersed ride done in small groups. Our homebrewed game rules are in the links below for anyone curious, but there is no need to read them before the ride. They're simple and a DM will be at each location to lead you through the adventure.
