It's bikes; it's sex; it's bike sex. The concept is simple: everyone moves differently; everyone fucks differently. Our program of erotic-themed art from various artists showcases how our mobility and kinks play with each other. The result is profound. We are all different; we are all fucking rad. We, the self selecting adults desiring of greater liberation for all, gather to explore taboos rather than permit an unseen "other" determine such personal and community values for us. In addition to the films we have two exciting performances: 1) the east coast musical group, The Bicycle Noise Creation Machine whom will be playing their bicycles live on stage. Catch them in other Northwest locations as they tour down the West Coast on their musical instruments. 2) a cast of dozen bike fuckers present live, political, queer, musical theater titled, "Pants!: A Story of Two Victorian Women, their Bicycles, and the World's Most Scandalous Bifurcated Garment!" $15 - No One Turned Aware For Lack Of Funds This event is a fundraiser for the Prairieland Defendants. People in Texas protesting ICE have been sentenced for 30-100 years in prison for exercising their legal rights and defending their loved ones. The US regime wants to create fear, not solidarity. We keep us safe and part of that is building power from our bottoms up to our doms. https://prairielanddefendants.com/ In 2007 the bikesexual population of Portland descended into a lovely abyss of their own creation at the first screening of Bike Smut, "The Pornography of the Bicycle." The Clinton Street Theater called it: "the most popular night in the history of the venue" with the line stretching around 3 blocks. More were invited to submit their ideas on the interaction between human-powered transport and sex-positive culture. A new program was made each year, including: "Turning Trixxx," and "The Porny Express" In 2016 the world premiere of "Science Friction" was the most recent time Portland would have an opportunity to experience communal defilement by "putting the fun between their legs" In 2026 a collection of films from the 19 years of traveling and exploring will help Portland learn how to get on and off bikes. We have shared these programs more than 500 times across 30 countries in 5 continents. Bike Smut doesn't make DVDs, stream or otherwise share these movies. The only way to see Bike Smut is live. It is unknown when, or if, it will ever play again in Portland.
