Did you know flat bike inner tubes aren’t recyclable?! But lots of repurposing projects can turn them into something fun! Let’s turn some into waterproof SPOKE ART instead! Join me at BikeLoud SOCIAL HOUR to make CROWS in honor of Wildwood 🐦⬛ statues around town and the growing migration of real crows! Will also have a variety of non-crow shapes too, or you can draw your own image. (Later at home you can customize even further with acrylic paint and a light topcoat). It’s easy, kid-friendly, and satisfying to see your custom creation rolling around town with you! ✂️ Supplies; Max provides everything you'll need; recycled inner tubes all washed & prepped, shape templates, chalk pens for tracing, and lots of both rounded & pointed scissors for kid or adult hands. ...And the plier stapler Tom Howe will use to install it on your spokes for you! We even use black staples to better hide them. ⏱️ Time: About 1 hour+ 💰 Cost: FREE so everyone can participate! {But if you are able, a small tip is appreciated to help cover the prep time and supplies.} Come join us to put some personality in your spokes! See you at BikeLoud SOCIAL HOUR! PS - YOUR FLAT TUBES WITHOUT GOO HAPPILY ACCEPTED! Bring and throw in the RED BAG near Max.
