A tour of Portland's 'Bensons' in celebration of the release of Brian Benson's bike trip memoir, Going Somewhere. We'll start at his sister's bike shop, Gladys Bikes, and then visit some of Portland's many historical markers that were named after Simon Benson, who Brian may or may not have descended from. (Who's to say really?) We'll finish the ride at Powell's Books for Brian's 7:30pm reading.
