Are you a cyclist who rides on the Springwater Corridor Trail? Have you ever wanted to know more about the plants growing along the trail? Which plants are edible, poisonous, medicinal, or useful for fiber, shelter, or fire making? Join Shaun Deller of TrackersNW for a bicycle tour of wild plants lore. Meet at the Milwaukee Ave. entrance to Oaks Bottom (the north parking lot). Ride the trail toward Powell Butte observing and discussing various plants along the journey. Free! End point uncertain. Possibly Powell Butte.
