This is our big one for Pedalpalooza 2016! BikeLoudPDX presents: jazz, flowers, veils and coffins: we're memorializing Portland's traffic deaths Big Easy style. Road fatalities in Oregon have increased a whopping 42% *in two years*. We're holding a rally/funeral procession/protest ride in memorial of the dead, and to raise awareness of this state-wide crisis. Starts with a march through downtown (so invite your non-cyclist friends) then continues with a ride. Dressing up in your "second line funeral" best (or whatever makes you think of New Orleans and/or funerals) in encouraged, but not required; feel free to come as you are.
